Abdullah Replaces Taylor In King’s XI Punjab

King's XI PunjabSouth African pace bowler Yusuf Abdullah will be a part of Preity-Wadia owned IPL team King's XI Punjab.

Yusuf will put back the injured Jerome Taylor, West Indies pace bowler for the forthcoming second season of the IPL.

While talking over this, Abdullah stated that he’s very happy about his new challenge.

The IPL is going to be held at his home town, and this is a good chance for him, and he can do well.

The 26 year old left arm bowler made an inspirational international debut for South Africa in a twenty20 international, which was played against Australia during the last week.

Presently, Abdulla is one of the most knowledgeable bowler for the South African cricket group in domestic fight.

He has played 26 T20 matches up till now.

Moreover, his economy rate is 5.83, considered one of the best in the world.

While commenting over Abdullah addition in the squad, Ness Wadia, Kings XI Punjab Co-Promoter, stated, “We are thrilled to have Yusuf as part of our group, as he will bring with him the local knowledge and knowledge of playing in a T20 format in South Africa.”

Earlier this year, the King’s XI had picked pace bowler Taylor. But, he has been eliminated out of the IPL after having an injury from a car accident.

It can be remembered that Kings XI's pace battery is stricken by injury troubles.

Taylor is the third on its injury list after S. Sreesanth and Aussie fast bowler Brett Lee, who is improving from a foot injury.

Despite this, the team from Punjab has also appointed head coach of the Lions Dave Nosworthy to help Coach Tom Moody.

Wadia also confirmed that the franchise had chosen Port Elizabeth as their base for the tournament.

The much-awaited second season of IPL is all set to start from April 18 with a bang.
